On thursday morning you stole my bike from the racks at 15th and high. It's a blue g2 arette, and worth a pretty penny if you can sell it. I'd rather give you 100$ to go buy drugs with, rather than you needlessly going to a pawn shop and having to fill out paperwork, and then getting arrested.

There's a blue superman sticker on the front of it that i got from a quarter machine, because i'm poor and a quarter machine with stickers in it filled the void of not having beer one night.

There's little clippies on it for the lights i had to buy so i could ride it safely around town. Yeah. you don't have the lights. You're riding in the dark running into crap.

That's my bike.. and the reward will go to you if you bring it back to me with puppy dog eyes. I won't even call the cops.

I hope you can afford a computer and are reading this, and i hope you want 100$.

I used to live a couple blocks away from this intersection...and I can totally relate. After the THIRD time my car was broken into(the first time they got a radio...the next two times there was literally nothing in the car but some loose change in the beverage holder) I actually left a sign taped to my car - "DOORS OPEN...PLEASE DON'T BREAK THE GLASS...HELP YOURSELF TO MY CHANGE'...that seemed to help.

The Moldy Peaches - 'Whose Got The Crack?'

Never in a million years would I have guessed...

Honestly, I never saw this one coming. The Moldy Peaches being part of a number one record? Amazing! I for one am happy for them. I realize that the Juno soundtrack is not actually a Moldy Peaches record, but honestly...it has to be 'Anyone Else But You' that is driving sales.

I can remember seeing them open up for Tenacious D in Las Vegas YEARS ago...2000 or 2001 I am thinking. Their offbeat songs and deadpan delivery always made me laugh. Kimya and Adam totally deserve this moment in the sun.

In honor of their wondrous achievement I am passing along a couple of tracks. The Peaches tune 'Who's Got The Crack?' and the Adam Green solo ode to Jessica Simpson, 'Jessica'

Juno

'Juno' was another movie I went into feeling more than a bit skeptical. I am really SO OVER the teen/pregnancy feel good sort of comedy...and for a bit, I had reason to be concerned. Then Ellen Page happened. She is just too talented and too convincing to let this turn into one of THOSE movies. While it does start to overdose from sweetness every now and again, Page always brings it back from the edge with her faux angst and sense of humor. Don't let the hipsters jade you on this one, it is excellent...well worth your time.

Um...i am having mp3 uploading issues...so I made this quick, REALLY QUICK, lo-fi video to share the unofficial theme song of the movie 'Anyone Else But You' by the Moldy Peaches. Please don't let the stunning visuals in this video distract you from the lovely song.
