Date: 2009-12-18, 4:58PM EST

you sold me the new fifty cent colon today. you are short with brown hair. you said your brother and sister was coming back into town today for the holidays. i was with a family member myself. you seemed really cool. i was wondering if you cared to chat some. i was really interested in you. get back to me if you can and tell me what you remember about me. if at all possible.

WAIT - 50 Cent has a cologne??? And people are putting this on their body...on purpose...and paying money to do so?? The end times are nearly upon us I fear.

Now We Can See

Finally...the Thermals have come back to me! My favorite Portland residents are finally back, following up 2006's blistering rant on religion "The Body, The Blood, The Machine" with their brand new record, "Now We Can See."

I am sure this will get smacked down by the web sherriff or the blog police or somebody...but I am going to post it anyway. It's a beautiful spring day here, and playing the Thermals on max volume will only make it that much better! Plus, Kathy Foster is my original imaginary rock girlfriend, I don't think she would mind me promoting her band. The record hits stores April 7th. Here's a preview:

We talked in line on Wednesday 10/22 to get tickets to the Sarah Palin event. You're from Tipp and I think your name is David. You were in shorts and I could not take my eyes off your beefy calves and am very attracted to you.

I just liked the irony in this one...two gay men trying to hook up at a Sarah Palin event!

Hi.

If you're looking for a guy who is intelligent, witty, education and fun, look no further. Obviously, I am a Christian, and I would only date a woman who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I have very little baggage. I've never been married and have no children. I can accept your children if they can accept me. I do love kids, but I'm not looking to start a new family.

My interests include Bible study, baseball, hiking, '70s music, reading, board games and road trips. Politically I am conservative; no Obama supporters please.

Non-smokers, non-drug users only. I am definitely NOT "420 friendly!"

I'm a big guy, but healthy and active. I just finished a hiking trip in Colorado. I'm 5-11 and about 270. I have plenty of photos available.

Is it weird that overtly Christian people creep me out?? Seriously...nothing makes me lose interest in a person faster....also, this post gives me an excuse to play a Thermals song ;-)

The Thermals VS Jesus

Sorry Jesus, but the Thermals totally kicked your ass with this one.

The Thermals recorded one of the all time great anti-establishment records back in 2006 with 'The Body, The Blood, The Machine.'

The record puts organized religion(mainly Christianity) in it's sights from track one and doesn't flinch once. A great collection of songs that contest and question THE MAN(aka THE CHURCH)...plus it's just a great rock record.

Now I will just sit here patiently and wait for the lightning to strike.

"We were born to sin
we were born to sin!
we don't think we're special sir
we know everybody is
we built too many walls
yeah we built too many walls!
And now we gotta' run
a giant fist is out to crush us" - The Thermals(Pillar Of Salt)
