My day has been made, and it's not even noon...all thanks to this gorgeous Blind Pilot cover of a Gillian Welch classic that just happens to be one of my all time favorite songs.

Just wanted to pass along two songs that I haven't been able to get out of my head for these last couple of days. The first one is off of what may be the first great record of 2009, AC Newman's 'Get Guilty'...and the second one is from a record that I just found last week, but should have been listening to all year - another great tune from Blind Pilot.

So much new music, so little time. It's been a great weekend here for finding new stuff. My latest soon-to-be obsession is the lo-fi Portland duo Blind Pilot. I heard this song I am sharing for the first time last night and I was hooked. Such great songwriters....hope you like it.
