Away We Go
I FINALLY got around to seeing the Dave Eggers/Sam Mendes film 'Away We Go' last night, and my soul is all the better for it. John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph star as couple in their early thirties who are expecting their first child and basically looking for an ideal place to raise said child. I am no film critic, nor do I want to ruin the movie for you if you haven't seen it...so I will say no more. I am just saying that this movie should be required viewing for anyone who is even remotely considering procreating. Seriously, it will be worth your time. .. if you are a definitive NO on the children front, it will still be worth your time...I promise.
And then there is the lovely soundtrack of songs recorded by Alexi Murdoch, each one perfectly fitting into it's own little piece of the film. Serendipitous synergy.

Isn't it just done so perfect!?
Great story.
Great music.
It really was. Pitch perfect :-)
Just watched it last night and was glad it wasn't the quirky rom com about becoming parents...nice to see the characters on the same arch, attached to each other and full or hope and fear. Nice B.
Oh! I really really want to see this. Thanks for the reminder.
