Always a good idea to let the potential 'hook-up' now exactly how much money you can spend...$40, not a cent more. I can totally see this guy like finding two twenty dollar bills that he had forgotten about in a coat pocket or something...he gets really, really excited and then, naturally, runs right to craigslist.
