This song, actually all of 'New Miserable Experience', sounds to me like the summer after I graduated high school. The jangly pop of the Gin Blossoms was the perfect metaphor for a summer of goofing off with my oldest and best friends before life took us all in different directions...it's impossible for me to hear these songs and not smile. :-)
