Murs has one me over as a fan through his insanely energetic live sets that I have caught at three of the last four Coachellas. His hyper intelligent lyrics layed over thumping beats don't hurt either.
His major label debut came out a week or so ago, 'Murs For President.' Here is a track off of that album...if you are even a marginal fan of good hip hop, check it out.

How are the guys in this town supposed to compete with GI Joe tatoos? We don't stand a chance...actually, never mind. I don't think I want anything to do with a girl that can recognize a "Arashikage ninja clan" tattoo.

I like your GI Joe Tattoo - w4m - 24 (Victorian Village)
I saw your tattoo from across the room and immediately knew... it was not the I Ching but the symbol for Storm Shadow's Arashikage ninja clan.
P.S. I like your hair. It's full of gel.

This was a tough one to soundtrack, but I reached deep into the vaults and found one...

Sitting here listening to some music, daydreaming about Coachella and Murs came on. I have caught his set in Indio two years in a row, both times he was awesome. I am the first to admit that I am not a HUGE hip hop fan, but the stuff I like I like a lot. Murs I like a lot.
I will be there at the end of April to see him again this year...wouldn't dare miss it.
