I've been meaning to post a track from this Black Keys/heavyweights of hip-hop collaboration for a couple of weeks now, just haven't had time. It's really an awesome record. The bluesy rock that the Keys have made a good career out of serves as the perfect backdrop for raps by the likes of Mos Def, Pharoae Monch, Q Tip and many more. Even the late, great, and STILL prolific Ol' Dirty Bastard shows up!
The track below is one of my favorites on the album. This one features rapping by Noe and the hook is sung by Nicole Wray. Enjoy.

Before even listening to the track I was tempted to buy this. Thanks for finding this (and sharing). This is SO going to battle Lady Gaga at work...
Ha! Glad to be on the right side of this fight...you know, I can honestly say that I have never heard a Lady GaGa song(not knowingly anyway)..and this is one of those rare times where it feels OK to be so out of touch!
Please enlighten me if I'm wrong. NOE is Jay Z. Period. I looked up NOE and found NOEl, you know, like x-mas.
OK so this "NOE" is a guy, but not the guy who's married to Beyonce. Well he sounds enough like Jay-Z that I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying to reveal him. Final judgment is that NOE is a biter.
