i pulled my teeth out for you

I woke up this morning in a cold sweat. The stagnant taste of morning breath coating my teeth. While lying there in my bed, the fragments of last nights dreams started replaying in my head. A chance meeting in a restaurant, the hello, the good, and then my act of lunacy. I am not sure how i got them out, but the image of chasing you down in a parking lot with a hand full of bloody teeth and screaming "please " is burned in to mind. I hope your doing well and I hope your happy. I will always love you.

The more I have listened to Damien Rice's 'O' album over the past few years, the more I realize that Lisa Hannigan was a HUGE part of what makes that record so great. I love Damien, I really do, but when you listen to '9 Crimes' you sorta get the sense that there is just something missing. Their voices complimented each other so beautifully, it was like he sounded completely different on the record without her.
She had bigger plans of course. Her own records. I am just sitting down and listening to her 'See Sew' release right now...and it's just about as lovely as I was hoping it would be.
