Rattlin' Bones

I was raised, musically speaking, on Elvis, Buddy Holly, George Jones, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, and Johnny Cash. And I have never been able to shake my musical roots. Not that I want to. I will go through phases or moods where 'roots' or 'old timey' music is just about all I wanna hear. And now I have a brand new album to add to the playlist. It's the joint effort between Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson, 'Rattlin Bones.' Sounds like home.

Great song, reminds me a lot of Buddy and Julie Miller, which is a compliment!

I grew up with Arab folk/pop music. elementary school was filled with crap like NSync and the Spice girls. middle school I wasn't too into music, except for maybe bhangra stuff. I didn't listen to the Beatles or Zeppelin until high school. my last two years of high school were jam packed with music, and my obsession hasn't stopped since.

anyhow, this duo seems cool, I'll check em out.

Cheers to different musical backgrounds! Yours is really cool...and seems as if you are doing a killer job of making up for lost time!
